• Senior School Teacher's Day Celebrations September 9

On Teachers’ Day, 5^th September all DP students came together to honour the Senior School faculty. Weeks of practice, hard work, and dedication went into executing a perfect day for every single faculty member – subject teachers, school secretaries, and dorm parents.

The event began in the School Atrium where teachers were photographed in ethnic clothing, holding personalized caricatures provided by the students of Grade 11. The atrium was beautifully decorated with banners and confetti and decorative boards.  

The special assembly for the celebration of this occasion took place in the Auditorium and consisted of dance and music performances by the students. There was an award ceremony wherein the teachers were awarded based on a Bollywood character their personality resembled.

There were melodious performances in which a few staff members also joined. Then followed a performance from the senior school band. The lead singer of the band, Aanya Garg, took over the stage as she performed a song from the famous movie – Rock On – and left everyone in awe.

The students’ display of dramatic skills came forward in an amusing play with a unique storyline – the theft of the Pathways Mascot, which led to an interrogation of all DP teachers, including the resident parents! At the end of the last segment, approximately 70 students of Grade 12 took over the stage as they danced to the teachers’ favourite songs

The day ended with the teachers getting a break from teaching students by watching a spectacular Bollywood movie of their choice!
