EconSphire November 29

Pathways World School, Gurgaon

On November 13th, 2021, 3 students from DP1 (Muskan Oberoi, Jhanavi Malhotra, and Raunak Kumar) participated in the Econspire Event hosted by DPSI. They participated in the Economics Quiz competition competing against 8 other teams. The quiz followed the concept of “Jeopardy” 2 two rounds.

The competition was replete with interesting questions about microeconomics, macroeconomics, political economics, current economic affairs, famous economists, and environmental economics.

In the preliminary round, intended to select finalists, Team Lemon (PWSA students) achieved first place with a total score of 1900. In the end, the PWS team came second. Through this event, the students fruitfully gained more economic knowledge which will help them within their IBDP economics classrooms too.
