World Wildlife Day Celebrations March 6Pathways World School, Gurgaon
World Wildlife Day is celebrated annually on March 3rd to raise awareness about the importance of wildlife and the need to conserve it. In celebration of this day, students from PYP1 and the PYP Exhibition group ‘Voice of the Vulnerable’ presented their ideas and thoughts on wildlife conservation.
The action was integrated with the Global Goals Project 2023 and focussed on the UN SDGs - ‘Climate Action’, ‘Life Below Water’, and ‘Life on Land’.
They emphasized the need for people to understand the importance of wildlife in maintaining ecological balance and the consequences of losing it. Students initiated a campaign for Primary School learners to participate in wildlife conservation.
