An initiative by the College Advisory Department:

Ritwik Varma has been accepted to participate in the 2018 Wheaton College Global Leaders Program which is a non-credit-granting program for secondary school students.

Wheaton is covering

• The cost of round trip airfare from home to Wheaton and return,
• Visa fees
• All meals from July 6 through July 19,
• Housing in a campus residence hall,
• Field trips, and other activities.

Program Dates: July 6 – July 19, 2018

The core portion of the program will be a five-day seminar on “Innovation and Social Change”, led by President Dennis Hanno, who has led similar seminars to thousands of students across the world. Students will be guided through a process of turning their ideas into action and learn how to build an organization of initiative that can affect change in their home communities and beyond.

Other sessions conducted by Wheaton faculty will introduce students to several of the subject areas they might pursue in higher education and Wheaton staff will provide an overview of the kinds of services and support available for students at liberal arts and sciences colleges such as Wheaton.
