• Halloween Assembly - Middle School November 5

On Friday, 30th October 2020, the Middle School students indulged in Middle School’s first ever Virtual Halloween. The Halloween celebrations commenced at 12:30 pm as every student joined the Zoom assembly. As the Middle School students settled in, the MS Student Council President, Kripaa Talwar, briefly addressed the gathering and exchanged greetings with everyone present.

The zoom meeting was overflowing with students and teachers. Interestingly enough, most students were dressed in spooky and fancy Halloween costumes to liven up the festivities of the Halloween season. The celebration began with a short video, which presented each student, who decided to take part in the Fancy Dress Competition.

Their presentations were inspired from famous horror movies characters. All Middle School students (MYP 1-5) were encouraged to participate in this memorable event. From mysterious Halloween make-up to scary-good fancy clothing and accessories, nothing was spared as students dressed up according to their choice. It truly was a sight for sore eyes!

Shortly after, the presentation was followed by watching a nerve-wrecking scene from Conjuring. The meeting was adjourned momentarily as MYP-5 volunteers joined separate meetings and waited for the other students to join them. Once in these meetings, the room in-charge shared their screen and displayed a short horror film, put together by the Middle School Student Council. As was visible, each and every student and teacher thoroughly enjoyed the clips and short movies. 

Finally, the end of the video signified the end of the meeting, and like all good things, the assembly also had to come to an end.
