To commemorate the 20^th year of PWS, the much-anticipated 1^st school reunion across all classes ended up as a heartwarming success, bringing together alumni from various graduating years in a celebration of shared memories and lasting bonds. Held on the school campus on a warm sunny winter morning of 13^th January 2024, more than 120 alumni attended the event that was a colorful blend of nostalgia, camaraderie, and pride, both for the alumni as well as for their alma mater.

The decorated pathway, the warm welcome and the lively activities that were put together with a lot of thought, ensured that the reunion buzzed with excitement. Alumni were thrilled to meet former classmates, teachers, and staff, reminiscing about their school days while also sharing their life journeys since graduation. The event featured a mix of entertainment, with performances from current students, offering a delightful throwback to old traditions.

The gallery walks across the path to ‘Samagam’ (the school’s auditorium) comprising alumni photos from school days was one of the highlights of the reunion, imaging a visual reminder of how much each of the alumna has changed since their time in school. A conducted school tour of the campus was a visual treat showcasing how much the school has evolved since classes graduated, while keeping its core values intact.

The sense of belonging transcended generations, with participants expressing appreciation for the effort that went into making the event special. Many cited the reunion as a fantastic opportunity to rekindle friendships and reconnect with the school’s community spirit. Spouses of alumni also felt an electrifying energy and an immense sense of belongingness to PWS.

Carefully curated take aways for the alumni and their spouses were humbly welcomed and deeply valued. 

The joy that this event brought both, to the attendees as well as to the organizers, marked this first reunion as a preamble to creating new memories while honoring the old. It reinforced the strong sense of connection that the school fosters, proving that no matter how much time passes, the bonds forged within its walls remain.
