Pathways World School, Gurgaon was the proud host of the Pathways Learning Fest (PLF) on Saturday, 14th September 2024. As a school, it was recognized that data has become the cornerstone of modern society, driving innovation across diverse fields, including education. In an era where every interaction, observation, and transaction generate data, understanding its role and potential is more crucial than ever. Keeping this in mind, this year's theme for PLF was 'DATA...AAHA……..from insight to impact!!’. 

Different departments from each Pathways Unit presented their perception of the theme and relevance of data in their day-to-day teaching experiences. This was followed by engaging and meaningful discussions across the cohort of over 600 educators all under one roof.

Mr. Avik Sarkar, who was the Keynote Speaker at the event, is an Associate Professor of Data, Technology and Public Policy at Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, and was previously the Officer on Special Duty at NITI Aayog, the Government of India's policy think-tank. In this role, he formulated strategies for data, analytics, and AI-driven governance and growth, leading the establishment of a high-performance Data Analytics Lab. Mr. Sarkar holds a Ph.D. from The Open University, UK, and degrees from IIT Bombay and Calcutta University.
